rims and tires from the 60's

when I bought my fed it came with 15 x 10 rim's. the car is supposedly 1968 and I'm trying to keep it somewhat period correct. question is, what rims and tires were of that era?

If not the 16" rims, US Mag made a lot of the aluminum slots back then.

Check these guys out. They made a mold from a Halibrand 16" wheel.  http://www.americanrebelmfg.com/

Real Rodders Wheels had a sale price deal going at the March meet. I don't have the flyer here at the shop but their stuff was heavily discounted.
 Better way than me finding the flyer--check their web site, (Duh!!!)

Jeff,
       the American Rebel wheels were the best deal out there until Real Rodders Wheels cut their prices. At $485 for a 16 x 10 polished on both sides I would look in that direction (plus I like the Sprint style better than the big window kidney beans). I took a close look at both manufacturer's product at the March Meet and there is no differentiation there. If anyone is looking for light weight the Real Rodders stuff is also available in mag (at a premium price)

 I was at Bakersfield Friday and talked to both these guys. What I found interesting is American Rebel Wheels says they make the Real Rodder wheels for them. They are coming out with an exact copy of the small window Halibrand this spring.
  Either way the choices are much better than a few years ago.

I beleive you can get the same wheels from Radir Wheels in New Jersey.  Check there website radirwheels.com
