been cleaning the garage for winter projects. bought a horizontal bandsaw for $60, a tree miller for $195, don't if it works yet and a $100 28' camper trailer chassis to build for the 192" rail. the 16' trailer is no fun and too short. still trying to get the 4-71 to work on a 350 buick w/o stuff in the way.
my son took the Monza car home because his wife wants to race it. it will have a stock 350 buick in it. this will be interesting to say the least. ;D the rail and that car mopar rears. rail has 4.10's and the Monza has more and I need it for the rail. hopefully they are the same spline.

Just got back from the PRI show in cold, snowy Indy. Show was incredible with over 1100 hard core racing manufacturers, engine building machines, trailers and great show deals. I was able to get what I need to finish up my FED.

My experience is you never have everything to finish, there is always one more thing needed. Did you meet Roo Man?

Glenn... you are right, they are never really finished. Unfortunately I did not get to meet Rooman. I wonder what he thinks of that Docol tubing?

I talked to the Scandinavians about the Docol tubing but was unable to attend the seminar. All of their sample coupons looked good and I like that the material lacks the heavy decarb layer that is common on the extruded tubing of late but the seam still scares me. The butt welded and flattened sample pieces that they had on display looked good but I think that I will let someone else use it in a dragster first.

Yeah, I am from the south--any further south and I would have been a bloody penguin.
