Too hot in Alabama for working in my shop, no AC, so I have become a shade tree guy until it cools off a bit. I did get out in the shop yesterday for a while and made a couple of front axle mounting brackets for my new 200" chassis.

VERY nice rig Bill. That's an intimidating motor. If you don't mind me asking... where are the zoomies?  :-)

Ricardo for what I am doing at this time that type of header makes more power and I am looking for every bit that I can get . Next year might be a different story as I am looking at this 7.0 class I may go to a blower or a small amount of nitro . Over next winter I plan on taking some compression out of it . Then we will most likely go to a zoomie header.

When we ran our engine on the dyno it was with collector headers to get the exhaust out of the dyno cell. I guessed the dyno headers had to be worth 20-40 hp. I have always ran zoomies . We have several nostalgia cars in our group with modern scoops, carb(s) and collector headers. If it were up to me it would be stack or hat injection or blower, any fuel , no intake scoops and zoomies only. The lack of a delay box and model year largely makes a nostalgia car with our group. Oh, and your dial must be 4.99 or quicker.

On lil brothers car 496" bbc we ran zoomies and everyone kept telling him that was reason car was not as quick as it should be. Borrowed a set of collector headers made 14 or 15 pass ans car never ran as good as it did with the zoomies.Nothing big .01 to .03 differance we figured just the air or track.

Zoomies lot liter and sound awsome so with no differance in performance we went back.Im building or will be building a set of zoomies for fed and if can get tubing i want they will be super lite weight.

Anyone know of supplier selling 120* 2.25 ID  or close aluminum tubing need .060 to ,080 wall thickness.
