Worked on the tunnel ram's headers again today. All pipe stubs are in . Top steel clamp rail is fitted and welded. Have to make the bottom rail , probably tomorrow. Lot of fooling around making stuff like this. I get to a point each day where I invoke "The Cabbage Rule" (Quit while you're a-head)
Luckily this aint my first rodeo. In the background you can see another 6 carb intake I made and ran for a few years on this little rail.  Just have to work away at it not getting frustrated. Eventually it will be done.

The valvetrain is the weakest part of these engines.

Bill,

Thanks for posting pics, especailly the intake and plenum.Looks a lot like the one I built for my Hemi.Feel better about design.

Yea built because more time than money for past cpl years. About 25 bucks material,65 bucks argon and 25 bucks welding rod is heck of alot cheaper than buying one ,for Hemi they run 1800 and up.Bad part I have ideas for next one and have not run this one yet.

Chris here are a few more . The 2 brass tubes along the top of plenum are spray bars for nitrous

OK where the freaking camera. I have two methods Ive mocked up.One very simular to yours and the other was on down the center. I have a homemade injector that I built using shaft out of birdcatcher and 2 of the butterflys. Its made from 2 pieces that are sandwiched together,I milled between them to make a perimeter system.

The perimeter system got pretty compilcated and not 100% sure it would seal well enough. That lead me to the other two setups.Plus having the fogger system nozzles I set it up for them also. Yea I like having quick change options.

So you thinking about using the down nozzle holes for the injection also. I figure we are running on same track on everything else. How about oil misting system for the rockers? Oh yea you have SBC that feeds oil thru pushrods to the rockers ansd keeps them from gawding the adjusters.

Did notice your ET's and how much the nos picked you up,what size system? Im going with 350 system and maybe two setups in case I get greedy.I figure the motor use to make 3000 hp so 1600 or 1700 should hurt it much. Not sure about the cars setup with that.Should be fun.

Chris I don't use a down nozzle . The bungs in the manifold are for my injector nozzles . The spray bars are for nitrous and fuel enrichment . With a 250 shot of nitrous bringing it in at .2 is worth between 4 to 5 tenth's and 8 to 9 mph.

Yea the down nozzles was a joke about your stuff being so close to mine and I looked at the down nozzle locations in my hemi heads the other night and thought man if closer to the valve does make quicker response,if I use those it should sound like a blower on it.
Routing the lines would be huge pain and if I had a leak it would be bigger pain to find.
Just funny how you can do something you have not seen on others than you see someone else has done the same thing. At times you start thinking ok somebody watching me.

Glen I used freaking instead of what ran thru mind first. I figured a same as using darn. I can not tell you how many people I know who go that freaking idiot and think it sounds totaly different than what I say. I get point you where making just thought it funny.
