Ready for Picton Airfield
« on: June 20, 2014, 04:12:14 PM »
Tomorrow is our second race at Picton Airfield. I have been rubbing on my lil rail all week and believe to the best of my ability it is ready to go.
I finished trimming up my carbs and cant think of anything else I need. I also went down and trimmed up Mikes set up on his very vintage hemi rail. He is also all ready to go. Hopefully it will be a good day for both of us.

Thanks , we did. My Sr dragster ran so well I was actually heard to say "now that is as fast as I ever want to go". Mike ran his dragster. Still very nervous hearing all those phantom noises that one hears when running a car and not yet comfortable with it BUT he put Pat Doornbos in. Pat is a very experienced FED pilot and he gave it some leg on the go pedal. It works very well.
