Good looking car!
I remember my first run in my sr dragster which was first time in a fed as well. I had six snowmobile carbs on the slant six, an untried combo save for a few passes by the mailbox out front. Slicks were an old borrowed set. I staged and ran through without even a whimper. Everything worked. I loaded the car up and went home. Sat on the couch grinning till about 3 AM. Folks asked why only one pass and I told them everything worked even the driver. I wouldn't mess up this night for anything. I will never forget it. And it will be similar for you. Have fun!
don
