Magneto signal conversion:
« on: April 10, 2022, 10:30:42 AM »
Putting together a new 200" with a 555 Kinsler injection setup.  Trying to keep the car  non complicated as can be.  I have a refurbished magneto (vertex) and have been told/and read that FIE has a voltage  converter to run a tach, and dash lights etc.  I don't plan on run a starting battery right now, but am open to the 20V dewalt style if its not super complicated.  Can you reccomend the FIE parts ,accessories and switches I would need to convert the mag signal to usable voltage on the car?  Would like to buy it all as one package at the same time.  Thanks

I am using a Mallory signal generator for the tach. Autometer and MSD also make one. Hope this helps.
