Title: Finally made it to the track today

We went down to Piedmont dragway today for a little test and tune. Managed to hurt the engine, but while I have had better weekends at the track I did get my chassis certified today.

How did you hurt the engine?

Honestly I have no idea. Just had a crack open up in the left side of the block. If I didn't know better it looks like a freeze crack. I've got a new motor in the works just waiting for the machine work to be finished

Well after building another engine and killing a brand new converter, I finally got in a couple of decent passes this evening. First run leaving off of foot brake and lifting early, it went 5.51 @ 113. Next pass I left off the trans brake but foot slipped on the gas pedal, still ended up with a 5.46 @ 126. Starting to think maybe I have this thing going my way :D
