NDRL Finial race, In conjunction with 5th Goodguys Nostalgia Nationals Beech Bend Raceway.

I can almost say for sure we will not run into this much rain

We have had four HOT tomalley races and one unfortunate rain out. 

Now it is time for a really nice cool clear sunny race.

For about a wek it looked like the Motor Home was going to prevent me from going to this last race, but the problem has been corrected!

We should be leaving for Bowling Green next Wednesday.

So far;

8.000 index

Qualifying run 1 8.057
Qualifying run 2 8.051 (driver error, short shifted by 300 RPM)
Qualifying run 3 7.997 (too fast by .003)

So not to bad, right? well in a field of 23 that puts us in the thirteenth position

This is in Pro Comp.

In Pro Gas there are three competitors that have index differentials of .000 (that is not a typo).

Eliminations start tomorrow

Well with the help of my wife (who makes this possible, and putting up with me) the NDRL family, Steven Walzack, Roo Man and Steve Christophersen and to many others to mention we have killed this unproductive racing season with a WIN at the GoodGuys Rod & Custom Association's Nostalgia Nationals (NDRL's ET Genie Fall Finals at Beech Bend Raceway Park).

It does feel good, thanks.

The learning curve starts all over this spring with the new engine.
