Intake valve stem seals or not on a NA iron head application. Have run with them both ways and have not seen any advantage or disadvantage as long as VS clearance is good. Experiences, observations?
Thanks

I would say yes to using valve seals because it will help keep oil out of the combustion chamber that can cause detonation .

Have never ran seals on race engine. Probably not worst idea just never have.

Naturally Aspirated engines have vacuum on the intake side and will want to suck oil down the valve stem.
The exhaust side has lots of heat and pressure pushing the oil up and out of the valve guide.
I would put seals on the intake side and question seals on the exhaust side.
