I guess your rules over there for breathing the engine are different then they are here in the States with regards to blower motors

He is the only one doing it that way and (without going all over the country and looking at everyones car) the hose to the capture devise is 1 1/4 " ID as mandated by the fuel rules, All other classes must have a hose/hoses that are 1" ID and is not the case here. Since the car is not finnished yet, I would assume that the tower breathers on the valve covers will be blocked off and not vented.

On the Highspeed dragster we run a -10 from the valley cover and 1 1/4" hose from each of the valve covers

I just checked both the regular NHRA rules and the Heritage supplement and there is no size requirement (or even any requirement at all) for breather hoses on anything below 7.0. (NE 1, 2, 3 etc)  Not required on blown cars in Comp elim either nor in Advanced E.T. (Even down to 6 flat). Also nothing in any of the Heritage blown gas classes. In General Regulations it says "Mandatory as outlined in class requirements; permitted on all cars" but does not spell out a minimum size.
