Title: Bob Buckley's Coating Specialties dragster
Post by: rooman on August 18, 2014, 04:32:04 PM: This is the letest car to leave my shop and end up on the track. Bob wanted a really vintage looking car and did a great job of making my stuff look good with lots of polishing, powder coating and chrome as well as a gorgeous candy red paint job with gold leaf lettering. The first photo is from a car show just over a week ago and the others are from last Saturday night at Route 66.

Bob polished the flanges, pipes and tie straps before welding them up and chroming them so they are probably the nicest set of hemi headers that I have ever seen.

Fabrication looks pretty decent too Rooman.Heck few more and you be getting good at this stuff. Just BS'ing you man awsome work.Looks like it popped out of 1966,hey wait so did I,must have been heck of year.LMAO
