Well, since I bought this FED I have not had a lot of time to work on it till now. The first thing is to give it a new look. I got all the parts sanded down for primer and have ordered supplies from HOK. The wife and I are thinking of a very light, almost white/silver for the car with a black race stripe down the middle. We will then order vinyl lettering to put "Salt&Pepper Shaker" down each side. We hope to be able to make our first run by mid May.

To me that's the hardest part of the job. Sanding the louvers will wear you out. :) Look forward to your progress.

Used my new paint booth for the first time, sure as xxxx beats painting in the garage. Got most of the panels primed, still have a few more to shoot then back to sanding.

Well not too shabby for only my second paint job...I think it looks pretty good, now to run it. David was the previous owner. He only made a few runs with it before he passed away. Remembering him was the only proper thing to do.
