Post by: spitzerscott on August 02, 2015, 11:57:40 AM
Hey, Spud what do you recommend? I bought an el-cheapo and got my money's worth.  Now I need one that works, Do you offer one, or have a recommendation.

I was given a Moroso leak down set that didn't work right. After taking it apart I found one of the holes I think it was for one of the gauges wasn't drilled all the way. Opened the hole up and it works perfect. Maybe yours just needs a little help.

My favorite is the old single gauge Snap-On tester. I have two of them. It is simple to use and doesn't require you to do any subtraction. You can still find them on Ebay at times. Usually between $80-100

I use a double gauge unit, us it for leak-down, and to set my poppets.

I have heard the most good words about the Total Seal unit. I guess I will go with that.   Thanks guys again for your help.       Scott
