I'd recommend calling Frank Parks at Neil and Parks.  He got sick and tired of both Strange and MW discontinuing floater parts and forcing you to buy a whole new setup, so N&P are building their own now.  Plus they designed a bunch of improvements over the "other guys" units.  Pics of them are on their Facebook page but you'll have to call for a price.

BRAND NEW 548 BBC Blown Alcohol motor, manifold to pan. This motor is BRAND NEW and ready to fire. Over $20k has been invested in this top quality piece, heck the machine work and blueprinting/assembly alone was $4500. You'll not likely find a better deal out there. Owner is getting out of racing and moving, needs funds for new home.

All parts in this motor are BRAND NEW with ZERO run time. All machine work, blueprinting, and assembly done by Don O'Neil of O'Neil's Custom Engines (Spokane WA). Receipts for it all are in the photos (link below). Motor has not been fired.

Is setup for a blown alcohol combination. Just add your blower, fuel system, ignition, and valve covers and you'll have a complete running motor.

All machine work, blueprinting, and assembly professionally done by O'Neil's custom engines of Spokane WA. All clearances have been setup for blown alcohol combination.

Wanted to sell / Ford 9" dragster/altered rearend

Ford 9" steel housing, custom built with tubular back brace and MW 58595 housing ends. 32" wide.  Axle width 37 5/8". No housing brackets; weld on yours to fit your car.  Could fit in a dragster, altered, roadster, funny car, or door car depending on your measurements.

Mark Williams 40 spline gun drilled Superlight axles
MW 45mm double roller bearings 58508
MW 5/8 wheel studs and 3rd member studs
MW caliper brackets (brand new never used)
MW 71022 rotors, nearly zero wear
Lamb 1602 calipers with a brand new set of pads.

All parts bought new and lightly used, only reason for selling is rules forced update to floater.

Do you know Sam Freeman?  He is over in UK as well, and is building a FED himself in his garage there. A super nice fellow as well!

Roo:  Do you have a preferred supplier for NAS bolts/nuts?  Seems like there is a million different types if those bolts, and many of the suppliers don't explain the sizing of them very well.

Interestingly, I have a set I was going to advertise soon. Centerline Convo-Pro, 15x14, 3 or 4" BS (will have to verify), 5x5" Bolt circle. Have low usage Goodyear 2070 tires on them. PM if interested.

Mark:  First, I'd have that crank checked by a reputable crank specialist for straightness. Second i would check the blocks main line.  I know some good machinists in the Kent area if you need one.

Roo Man's Room / Optimum tire/wheel combination

Roo:  What's your take on the ideal tire/wheel combination for a blown alcohol/A-fuel FED?  Obviously the NTF cars are required to run the M&H or Hoosier 16x12 tire, but what do you like on cars that don't have a rule requirement?  And beadlocks or not?  My particular application is a 210" FED, blown alcohol BBC approximately 1300-1600 HP range, Mike's Monsterglide (1.78 1st), and whatever rearend gear works best, but was probably going to start out with 3.70's. Currently I have some Centerline 15x14" non beadlock wheels with Goodyear 33x14.5-15 tires , #2070 D6. Although I do know guys running these tires successfully, they seem a little big. Was thinking of a smaller tire but it needs to be a 33" tall (so the bottom rail isn't too low), and Goodyear has discontinued all of the 33x12 and 33x14.0 tires.

Or another possibility is to convert to a 16" rim and run the NTF tire, but would that work well in a much less powerful alcohol engine in front of a transmission and torque converter?
