Thanks Glenn, Roo and Spud for updating this web site.
As Glenn knows, my picture taking and computor skills are weak. :-[
But I will start posting pictures and text as soon as the weather get better and I can get back in the garage.
My FED is slightly different but thats what having a FED is all about.
I have run my car in 2007-2010. Time and money had parked it but we are going out agian this year.
I have a 225" car built by George Cathey [Pro-designs] of TX.
We run a Big block Ford injected alcohol. Also uses a 2 speed Lenco and a two disk Crowerglide clutch.
Not your typical bracket racer but it was consistant and fun.
I think it helped Glenn Lever decide to build a FED as we race at the same track locally.
This year we are building a larger engine [547ci] and adding Nitro! 8)
I enjoy watching the west coast A/fuel class and am building within the NHRA heritage series rules.
I do not plan on running 100% nitro but about 65-75%. It should be fast and not hurt parts.
I will add photos and text when I can.

This is what our 497ci engine looked like back in 2009.
We are building a new one now and I will try to post when I can.

It is interesting what sparks a memory.
I was thinking surely I can find another picture of this engine (ask Matt to talk about the setup in the dragster) and I did.

This picture came from a Club Racing event that Matt of Pro-Formance Specialties http://www.pro-formancespecialties.com/ sponsors out at Empire Dragway. Anyway finding that picture brought the whole night back.
Seeing his dragster gave me the bug to get one myself.

and here is the man himself

anyway, back then I still was running a door car (that engine is now in the dragster (with some mods))
and that evening I had a little run in with a bird, the bird lost
(http://www.leverfamilysite.com/images/Hidden_Pictures/P8190042.jpg)
but it was a good evening as out club (Rochester Street Rods) won the event.

Just a little insight into two members here.

Believe it or not I found some more.
Before you start to wonder about me I am not a stocker, the camera is never far from me, I have thousands of pictures.
Oh yes and this was another club racing night and another win for Rochester Street Rods
