Spud Miller's Cave / stack injection question
« on: March 31, 2014, 03:24:41 PM »
Hi, I have a small block Chevy that I have a Hilborn stack system to run on it. The nozzles are #7a and the barrel valve is a number 54. What number of nozzles and barrel valve would I need to run this on Methanol? The pumps 150-A Hilborn.
  Thanks,
             Roger

Roo Man's Room / looking for a "once over" on the chassis
« on: October 05, 2013, 01:54:47 PM »
Hi Roo,
OK, I added the diagonal like you recommended. I also made a chute mount and changed the steering box mount also. Any criticism would be greatly appreciated.
I'm also going to go with a smaller tire.
  Thanks,
               Roger

« on: September 19, 2013, 05:16:24 PM »
 Hi again,
Well I have progressed a bit more on the car. So far a lot of the extras are only tacked on for now,if they all work, they will be welded later. The motor is 39"out,thanks guys.
Oh I plan on adding a diagonal between the two uprights under the engine, thanks Roo.

Hi all,
well the Willys is painted, now for the lettering. This winter the motor will be assembled, and if all goes well, hit the streets and track next spring.

Front Engine Dragsters / motor location
« on: September 08, 2013, 04:39:30 PM »
Hi everyone,
Ive been lurking here for a while, now I need to ask a question. I bought a chassis, 160" car, tacked together. Well after welding the chassis together, its time to install the rear end and motor plate and mounts. Anyway, I'm not getting any real help from the chassis builder, so I'm hoping to get help from the forum.I enclosed a few pictures, in one of the pictures you can see where the boss on the side of the block is hitting the frame. Oh I was tolg that the motor should be 39"out with a standard length glide. Is there a simple cure?
  Thanks in advance,
                              Roger
