Be careful that circulation air within your helmet doesn't dry out your eyes. It may cause you to blink at the wrong time. Just sayin.

Looks like the car drives to the left at launch with the front tires off the ground. Looks to me like a sure sign of a larger circumference tire on the right side than the left. Measure the roll out of each and match them within a 1/8th inch. (Sorry no metric system here.)

After watching the slo-mo video a couple of times, I have to ask is this a solid mounted rear end car or is it sprung with a latter bar/ 4-link in the rear?

Guys first post here. I have been looking into getting a FED but looked at this recently. It is out of NY. Started out as a 125" S&W funny chassis and is currently at a 190". Some have said dragster and others altered. I would like to think at 190" it is a dragster. If anyone knows anything about it let me know. Going to contact the seller here shortly. Thanks Scott

I'd call this a Modified Roadster. And if it is on alcohol a Modified Fuel Roadster. Kind of a hybrid dragster/altered.

I want to thank someone for adding me to this site. Been lurking here from time to time and thought I would take this opportunity to step up and join in the conversation. Many of you may already know me through personal contact (Hi Bruce  ;D ) and other chat spots I belong to.

Regarding glasses and face shields fogging up, here is a simple solution used in by film production people; swab the lenses with isopropyl alcohol before getting in the car. Should be good for an evening but doesn't hurt to reapply.

Another trick taught to me by former N/FC and AA/FA shoe Jeff Utterback is to soak a towel with Dawn Soap (and a small amount of water to thin it out some) and wipe on the lenses, but don't wipe off. Jeff kept his towel in a plastic bag to reuse later.

Hope this helps.

Cheers,
