Thank you for the info Roo. Yes I am not sure which car is the yellow TF car but we were next to it in staging and the attention to detail on that FED is amazing. It is a work of art. Too bad the weather was so crazy but they always seem to get it done. And as always it was a great time.

Hi rooman, I saw a couple of your builds at the march meet. Very nice builds in the top fuel class. The question I have is air pressure vs wheel speed and wheelie bar height. There is quite a  controversial conversation about wheel speed vs wheelie bar topic between quite a few people at the track. I have been told the lower the tire pressure the faster the wheel speed and this weekend I was told I was wrong, I am interested In your input on this topic. maybe I am way out of line but I am talking about a 7.0 to 7.6 fed deal. What is your input on this topic? I have always found lower pressure gets you up on the slick faster but am I wrong? I am by all means not a pro and I would like to be schooled on this topic. Thanks

It is kinda a one off deal, It is a low deck wedge solid block. No cooling passages. Looks like the new owners of KB are making a run at it and are going to start pumping out blocks. This block is one of the first new ones with many changes. I am very happy for sure...

Hi Rooman, can you please post a couple pics of how you do steering mounts down the side of the chassis? Do you use Teflon to make the tube slide better? I would like to cut off all my brackets and make it better. Maybe I am being too pikey but would like to get rid of the metal to metal deal. I hope this makes sense. Thank you as for finally after 2.5 years I might be getting my KB block to finally mock everything up. I will post pics as all comes along.
Thanks Greg S.

Weld Wheels web site

Lug Nuts: 7/16 Wheel stud = 75-85 ft-lbs
1/2 Wheel stud = 85-95 ft-lbs
5/8 Wheel stud = 130-140 ft-lbs
12mm = 90 ft-lbs 14mm = 110 ft-lbs

Weld Racing does not recommend the use of lubricant when installing lug nuts.

Strange also recommends 130 with the aluminum spacers...

Jon you should check out the line 2 line coatings ICON is using on piston skirts. I think it might be something worth while on the Jr Fuel engines to help with ring seal... I'm no pro but is good stuff
