Glenn:

Thank you for the email. I am new at all of this but our family has been building cars for many years. My uncle is the one building the Donovan 417 right now. he is planing on bringing it to shows on a engine stand and starting it up for people. it has a early block numbered 160 and we do have a set of heads that are numbered 3. we will not use those but we have many other one off or rare parts for the build. The last pieces we need are the water necks that connect to the heads.

I know these are rare but if you could help in any way it would be much appreciated

Jeff

NHRA officials have announced the 2017 NHRA Hot Rod Heritage Racing Series schedule, headlined by the Nostalgia Top Fuel and Nostalgia Funny Car categories. The series, celebrating its tenth season, includes classes for front engine dragsters, altereds and gassers, along with the nitro-burning dragsters and Funny Cars.

The season opens at Wild Horse Pass Motorsports Park in Phoenix, Jan. 14-15 for Groups 1 and  2, followed by the famed Good Vibrations March Meet and the kick off for the Nostalgia Top Fuel and Funny Cars, March 2-5 at Auto Club Famoso Raceway in Bakersfield, Calif., and the Nostalgia Reunion at Sacramento (Calif.) Raceway in early April. The series then heads north for the first of two stops at Firebird Raceway in Boise, Idaho, the NAPA Auto Parts Ignitor with a second stop at Sacramento Raceway slated for June 16-17, a Friday-Saturday night event.

The series benefits the Wally Parks NHRA Motorsports Museum presented by Automobile Club of Southern California through a pair of Hot Rod Reunions that are produced by the Museum. The Holley National Hot Rod Reunion presented by AAA Insurance at Beech Bend Raceway Park in Bowling Green, Ky., is the first on the schedule slated for June 15-17 and will be followed by the popular California Hot Rod Reunion presented by the Automobile Club of Southern California that will conclude the series, Oct. 20-22 at Auto Club Famoso Raceway in Bakersfield.

Mission Raceway Park in Mission, B.C., will host the Funny Car class at its NHRA Lucas Oil National Open July 22-23 before the series heads back to Firebird for its traditional Nightfire Nationals event that features both the Top Fuel and Funny Car categories in August. Rocky Mountain Raceways returns with their Funny Car Summer Send Off event while Group 2 classes will conclude their season at the Nostalgia Fall Championship at Auto Club Famoso in September as part of their Saturday Night Nitro event.
