Brian are you going to run the same engine as the tempest? Should be fast. I bracket  race mine and it's a lot of fun . We also run Top Dragster wich is just fast bracket racing . good luck!

31x12 goodyear

  and want to go faster

How is that 1.69 low gear working for you ? I would like to try one myself  Bill Masiello

We like it. Had the 1.80 and it was too hard of a hit off the start. It's also what Scott and Frank suggest. I take their advice no matter what I think because I don't know xxxx. Lol

Frank know's his stuff and just a fun guy to talk to!

Hi Chuck  My combo is a 3.625 stroke 4.155 bore to make 394 cubes Head's are an old set of 18 degree comp eliminator heads ported by Jimmy Bell Sheet metal intake with twin Terminator injection by Rons fuel injection .The car weigh's 1550 with me in it . It is not your typical FED combo but we wanted to run Division 1 Top Dragster wich I really enjoy so we had to step it up a little . The best we were running was 7.40's and we were having trouble Qualifying for these races so we installed a nitrous system on it ! This gave me a new goal and that was to run a 6 second run ! It took almost 3 years to get there . Alot of 7.0 runs and a lot of aborted passes ! We finally achieved our goal at the 2012 Dutch Classic at Maple Grove 6.94 at 191 . Now I HAVE TO FIND SOME NEW GOAL'S ! See you at the races ! Bill

2003 Neil and Park's 215 W.B. 394 cube small block Chevy, Glide 4.56 gear 33x12 tires 2 Ron's terminator's Alcohol injected . Once and awile we spray it with 200 hp Nitrous . Run's 7.40's at 181 on motor and our best ET on nitrous 6.94 at 192.

Two year's ago I tore the pinion right out of mine . The force of it bent my motor plate forward about 3 inches ! So what did we do We borrowed a center section straightened out th motor plate and raced the next day ! I think those people are right there really is something wrong with us but it's too late to change now !

I can't understand why Goodyear stopped making those tires . I was using the 12x33's on my car and they were very fast . Hoosier makes a similar tire I just hope it will work for me. That 14.5 tire dosen't sound like it is too big
