Front Engine Dragsters / It's official, I'm going sbc...............

I'm a Ford guy. A couple of years back, I saw some old stagger bolt sbc offy valve covers, and thought they belong on a FED. So, I bought them. Yesterday, I bought an ALGON sbc fuel injection intake.

So much for brand loyality.

Front Engine Dragsters / Anyone got any ideas for a simple chassis jig for a one time build? 150" WB.

I mulling over the design for my jig. I'm thinking of making it bolt together for ease of adjustment during the chassis build and storage later.

I've got some 3" square tube for the crosspieces, but I'm trying to figure out if I should use an I beam, channel welded back to back, or square (rectangle) tube for the main beam of the fixture.

Any pictures of your jig would be appreciated too.

Hello all,

I "won" one of Cen-Pen's $2K credits toward a chassis last year. I was pretty jazzed about the win at first, but after a lot of thought, decided to pass on it.

The win has inspired me to build my own.

So I'm scrounging parts, planning, reading old tech articles, taking notes and dreaming for now.
