Title: another ballast question
Post by: wideopen231 on June 18, 2015, 07:24:59 PM
Hey always questioning things. Working on car things pop  into head, I keep  the scary stuff in.Others I sometimes over think.

Tonight question. Rear weight ballast. Plan never to need to add weight against my religion, but it happens. Wondering If can add less weight but get same tranasferr if weight is farthure back.  Say inside lower portion of wheelie bar 1" solid rod 60" close to 10#..Well until wheel hits. Other ideas simular,no reason going thru them all.

Of coarse only come into play after reworking weight from front  if needed. From info  I got off thread  on front weight ,I am in ball park.only time will  tell, track time that is.Just getting as many options as possible.

I think the last thing you will ever have to do is put weight in the rear ! If you do eat a big cheese burger !
