Title: New tri drive for FED
Post by: wideopen231 on May 24, 2023, 10:46:23 PM: Well I broke the belt drive sytem last time out. So got wild hiar to build something little stouter. About $150 bucks and ungodly mount of hours on mill and lathe. I have a Gear driven(motorcycle gears) mag,fuel pump and vacuum pump drive, Seems wot work great.only a few pass' will tell the story. Bad thing is I have found bunch of ways to improve and build easier. The fact the gears I bought came in set of 3 and none same size so bought two set and now have two more sets of gears. Cool deal when you can make it work and using old parts from soething just adds another level of cool.

Thanks guys. It turned out pretty well. Like most projects I found 4 or 5 things I will do differently next time. Having two more sets of gears I will probably being doing another later.
