Title: Piston companies ?
Post by: Supercat on January 21, 2023, 08:48:04 AM
For custom race pistons who do you use?
We had to pull an order after waiting for a year for our new pistons(that were never started).
I'd like to finish the new engine soon. The 55mm cam is being finished now and then pistons are all I'm waiting on.
Please let me know who is your go to....
Thanks

I use JE or wiseco had custom pistons made for various projectsthe last one were for a 1947  el knucklehead because El was a 61 cubic inch short stroke instead of a standard 74 and used shovelhead cylinders bigger bore. for more standard stuff the turn around time was good and the specs were spot on

I just ordered my first set of Diamond pistons for my odd little SBC at the first part of December and had them at my shop by the end of month.  I was shocked how quick I got them!
