I'll give you my 2 cents , That thing is auwsome, Cool to see someone put some good old time thought into the design of there car, Beautiful!! as far as the canard side wings extra weight Who cares if it's alittle weight ,make up for it in horsepower!! you might think about makeing the wing a few inchs wider, But no matter what you do this car will look GREAT!!   Tim Jones

Hit kind of a snag, the other day I was running the motor for my brother, at first I thought it got a headgasket, but after pulling the head I found that one of the sleeves in this motor had cracked right near the top, SO because I'll have to fix the block anyway, I'm going to prep both blocks I have for the blower set up, I mocked up what I have While the engine is in the car to run the fuel lines and what not, Being I'm at a stand still money wise, I started working on my 47 ford cab that I'm going to swap on my ramp truck,, Tim Jones

Right at the moment I'm just storing it til the comp coupe is done, I would rather have a running engine in it, but money will decide that, Most Alum blocks can be repaired, the KB in the pic above has had alot of windows fixed in it, an early KB  block would be nice to have , My KB is a stage 6 and it has billet heads, the heads I need for the car are an old set of water heads but there pretty pricey , even the junk ones! But talk to your buddy and see what he has,  Thanks Tim Jones

Thanks Gary  the chassis is Mild steel, Rated for what ever nostaliga meet will let it run, tho it will pass tech at most tracks ,buildt it just to have some fun again not worried about running every weekend, started out after not running a car of my own for 30 years just wanting to do an old 50' 60's type car but added the better cage and so on as I went, still have a couple bars by my legs I going to add, My kids want this thing built like a tank :) There mom told them about me crashing one of the old cars, So I guess they worry about the old man, changed to the comp coupe deal last fall always liked the look of them,,  Don't have alot of spare money to throw at this thing like the old days, but that's OK if I can make it myself I don't buy it, alot more fun to do anyway,,,,,Tim Jones

Here's mine, The 72 satilite Fighting Irish Car ,, well aleast the body is the original, the chassis is from the same time, I got it because It was one of the cars I watched run when I was a kid, I'll more than likey do it as just a display car, unless I hit that darn lottery, even trying to get the right motor parts is a pricey undertakeing,,,,, Still cool to have, but until then I'll keep working on the Comp Coupe,,  Tim Jones
