The shorter they are, the more they unload the drive tires when they're holding the car from further wheelstand.

On our Jrfueler we just use a light plastic water bottle, we can see how much ATF is in the overflow, and have never filled it up or had to drain it, in over 10 years.
Jon
Jon, I'd like to replicate it on mine. Is there a little vent in that bottle?

You guys have eagle eyes!

Blower overdrive/underdrive refers to the drive ratio between crankshaft and blower, just that. Manifold boost will be a consequence of that drive ratio (among many other factors).

Not such a thing as 'zero driven' If drive ratio is 1:1, it could be called direct-drive.

I have always wondered about those evac systems even on gas carbed to the collectors? Doesn't the crankcase pressure need to have a breather on the inlet somewhere? I've seen two lines to the headers and no place for air to enter the system? Additionally why would breathing oil in front of the slicks be a good idea?
'Air' enters the system through piston rings and valve guides.

Yes, I would say bumps in the track too. When the rear of the car moves up and down going over the bumps, the drive shaft rpm changes as the rolling radius of the tire changes. The engine rpm does not "spike" because the tires are not leaving the ground. Some of that resolution will depend on your data rate too. Is that Maple Grove?
This and being a fluid coupling, the torque converter absorbs spikes like that.

Hey Dave, do you have logged data of your runs? I think that would help to verify the converter match to your application.

A tight radius bender from RIDGID and then modify it so that you can start the bend soon after the nut and collar.
I have an Imperial/Eastman tube flare kit (aircraft) that roll's the flare into the material and the when it backs off it burneses the material. You cannot compress the flare into the material because it work hardens and splits most of the time. That bender is around $300,  There are other benders out the that people say work, never used any of them to give an opinion on how well
Thanks as always Bruce, I greatly appreciate your contributions to this forum.

Thanks Bruce. Any recommendations for bending and flaring tools?

Hey Gordon,
This is something I considering doing in a long time. Please share pictures.
Thank you.

We have used a powerglide input shaft for 14 years, but I have talked to some racers that are using a turbo input shaft.
Did you guys break the PG shaft ?
Jon
Hey Jon, is yours a factory stock Powerglide shaft?

Trying out some mufflers to see if it helps the performance any over zoomies.

Sacrilege!  :o
