Wanted to sell / 392 Hemi parts for sale
« on: November 16, 2014, 06:19:12 PM »
For sale. 392 Hemi, engine is apart here is what I have. 1957 392 block, all machine work is done. It is .030 over fresh bore job, decked, 4 bolt main caps with fresh align hone, block is o-ringed, ready to assemble. The block has been filled so it is only good for race or cackle. Velasco crank, used out of a NTF car has been to Crankshaft Specialties and given a clean bill of health. It is has a 4.275 inch stroke. New Venolia rods they are 7.0 inches in length and have the 360 Mopar size wrist pins. The pistons are new Arias pistons with the hard coating and are 11.1 compression. I have new bearings and pistons also. The rod and piston are correct for the stroker crank This combo would be about 440 cu in. Other new parts I have are: Milidon pan part number 31162, Herbert roller lifters, Milidon gear drive, oil pan stud kit, oil pump drive, head studs, front cover and fuel pump drive. I also have a set of bare heads that need worked over and a set of stock rocker arms. I am asking 5600.00 for all of it. I am located near Wichita KS I would rather not have to ship but would consider delivering it for a nominal fee. Might also be able to arrange a ride for it to the March Meet. I am restoring a 1965 Jim Davis FED so I might entertain trades for period correct parts I might be able to use. Contact me at mbuchanan4@cox.net Thank you Mike Buchanan

« on: February 05, 2013, 01:14:03 PM »
Hi! Mike Buchanan here from Goddard Ks. I own an old mid sixties Top Fuel car buildt by Jim Davis. I currently race with the Southwest Jr. Fuel Association, www.swjfa.com it is a heads up all front engine dragster association. We race in Texas and Oklahoma about 6-7 times a year. My best time so far is 7.67 at 171.4 mph. We do have several cars that are routinely faster than that, the quickest time posted this past seasom was a 7.18! by one of our other members. Our first race this year is in Evadale TX March 30th. Our schedule and driver profiles and rules are on our website.
