Title: Stack Injector Net
Post by: opa1 on August 07, 2018, 11:25:25 AM
What are you guys using for a injector net? Is there nets already made, or do I need to get one made? If I have to make it, what material should I use. I can have my upholstery guy sew one up.

I want to be able to use the net during burnouts. Take off before run. Like Forest Gump says, sometimes there are too many rocks! :)

don't use the fiberglass fake door screen--ask me how I know--that stuff burns like dry paper the melts all gooey

Ah     just let it eat rocks LOL   I have not seen anything that was reasonable and looked any good except my pal that had a very old Hilborn with smaller stacks found sink drain screens at walmart that fit perfect . on mine the small screens are too small and the std size are too big

I was thinking of a cover that would have a elastic bottom. Sort of like a shower cap. Just to keep the rocks out when towing in the pits and burnout.

Dog poly door screen material with a bungee cord sewn into a the edge worked well with our stack setup.
