I'll be there...all day, every day. Will probably bring my 32 coupe so I can say I was at least a little part of this event. I think it's going to be huge. Chuck

Glen I am really not sure where we will be parked . More than likely we will have to park in a specific area . When you go through the gate there will be guy's on ATV'S showing you where to park .You are going to love the track surface it is one of the smoothest well preped tracks around . See you there!

Well we made it to Epping (HOT ROD REUNION).

I am trying to post with my phone as a hot spot

Only have two bars so the connection is not good

Day one (Tuesday) VERY hot 95 degrees. Got unloaded, and met a number of people from the forum

I'm only going to post one picture per reply because it keeps failing.

Nice view from the entrance. I do not know if you can see it but you are looking right down the track

These inspection shots were all from day one.

I made it through my first big event tech inspection with no problems (not my vehicle being inspected in this shot)

Glenn, I saw your car (looks beautiful) but did not see you. I'll try again tomorrow. Also, do you know where Bill Mas is pitted?

Sorry, no I do not.

Stop by, should be a busy day, with the rain today did not get to run (they had called us and we got to the staging lanes and then they turned us around.

I can only get 4 at a time or my phone.

As you may have guessed it rained on day two. We got called, got to the staging lanes, and they turned us around. It then rained just a little bit.

Well  the story continues.

This time we did our burnout, backed up, started to stage and got waved off because of sprinkles.

Went back to the pits.

Were called again, staged and launched.

It ran very slow, 9.06  We think the sprag in the converter is dead.

Plan is to return to Rochester, pull it and have it cut open.

Hope to have it fixed for BG in two weeks

Had a great time at the Hot rod reunion despite the bad weather . We finally got to make a run on Sat morning after getting poured on twice on Friday . Glen very nice to meet you and Anne ! Also Chuck and Kathy aka coupmerc ! The racing did not go as well as I had hoped we lost second round of the 7.50 class .Still a great weekend with some fabulous cars and great people . We are already making plans for next years reunion at Bowling green!

I had a great time too. Saturday was one of the best days that I have ever experienced at Epping with many highlights. One of them was getting to finally meet Bill (masracing1167) and his family. One of my buddies won his class, another runner-upped and I got to do some catching up with Tony Lebor while he was not busy tuning Bartone's deal. So many great cars! Hope they do it again next year.

Glen Thank's for the link . After looking at the pictures of my car it confirms what we thought the problem we were having with my car is . That Hoosier tire needs more air than the Goodyear . With the Goodyear we ran 6lbs and it worked great I had 6 1/2 in the Hoosiers and they are still too low . I think I might have to go to 7 lbs with them .
