Hi Lynn, The Frameworks shifter is a nice compact piece, we have one in our car. The buttons are neutral/reverse lockouts.

What would a pair of Halibrand  8) wheels go for $$ these days
10.00 x 16.0 3.6 off
13.00 x 16.0 3.6 off

What tyres are available to fit these rims.
Currently running 32.0 x 14.0 - 15 but also 3.73 gear so looking at a lower gear.

Thanks

302/351 clevland uses small block pattern, the 351M/400 tall deck Clevlands use the big block pattern.

It would depend on what thickness plate you were starting with and any bolt pattern overlap. If thick enough you can duel pattern using countre sunk cap screws. We have a 392 Hemi with a powerglide.  :)

Last time out with the car we had one of those 1 in a million, will never happen again events.
Pulled the chute, it blossomed and then then engine shut down by itself? Check of the gauges and no light, meaning no power, hmmm that's odd. Check of the switches and they are all are on? Get stopped, get out and find that the emergency disconnect switch on the back has the key hanging off on the safety line. Pick it up to find it is broken in half. Obviously when the chute came out it hooked the key, switched it off and snapped it off. The broken piece was still in the switch.
What weird things have you had happen.

We ran the Nostalgia event at Willowbank on Saturday and with just a barrel valve tweak it ran slightly off (0.2 & 4 mph slower) our best. The conditions compared to on our PB (8.585) were not that different other than humidity & water grains being double. This combination seems to not like high humidity & water grains. :(

Very dependent on how heavy it is and how fast you are going.

After checking everything else in the fuel system we had the pump flowed, all good.
We rechecked the balancer mark just incase. So far nothing is jumping out as the cause of our power loss.

We checked all the nozzles beforehand and during.
The plugs are rich as expected and were brand new.
Thanks for your thoughts, we will be rechecking everything tomorrow (Saturday here in Aust).

We checked the poppets before and after, seemed ok. Will definitely check the breather as it had been months since we last ran. We are currently running the 2 bypasses, Main & Idle. Sneaking up on the tune before maybe adding a high speed. Thanks again.

Thanks Wideopen, My calculations for a 4.8 AFR on that last run was a 134 MBP so yes with a 120 real fat. As that last run was only the 14th full run data is a little limited hence my question about how far the performance should have fallen away. We were off by over 1sec and 15 mph on the first run, tried a few thing and then for the last pass just went back to our base tune. I have a feeling the pump may have gone away. Anyway will investigate further this weekend.

Using some figures from the Biondo Bros I calculated we should have run about an 8.79 to 8.10, but we ended up with a 9.48.

A little late I know but Happy New Year to everyone.
Looking for some guidance from our seasoned racers with regards to performance drop when the humidity and water grains are high. We did some testing yesterday and were way off our previous runs. Initially we tuned for the conditions but for the last pass everything was back to what we ran last time which is still very rich. So the 2 runs weather condition were
1. Temp 74.92 f, Humidity 25%, Uncorrected Barometric Pressure 30.04, Water Grains 32, Air Density with H2O 97% and Altitude 1074'
2. T 78.80, H 92%, UBP 29.80, WG 129, AD 94% and Alt 2230
Stack injected methanol 392 Hemi.
Thanks Neil

Hi Lynn, One of my favorite sayings is "The only stupid question is the one not asked". I also learned a long time ago what works for one does not work for another. I may not work for you but never dismiss their idea it may come in handy later with another combo. Listen to everyone one and make up your own mind from the info gathered. When it works/doesn't work it was your decision. This forum is a great resource for differing ideas and information. Ultimately have fun. Cheers Rat.  :D
