Matt,
 on a solid lifter cam should you still set the end play on the cam, between hex drive and the pump.
if so, how much end play and is this with the gasket or no gasket?
or does this screw up the lifters from spinning and pushing the cam back?
going to use a thrust bearing and shims

Matt,
 trying to identify a crankshaft,
 on the front counter weight there is a  Y.T. part of the forging about 1/4 inch tall
and stamped is 012797 date code? and 2389 bub weight?
Eagle, Scat and Callie not their  all very nice but no help.
anybody heard about NNP i think in ky.

ok she light  8) very fat and lazy
got the timing set i think, 22* (in the mag, crank degrees), add 12* to give 34* total (add 12 from o on the balancer ) right?
 to lower the rpm close the blades more?less air!
have a 7 lb spring in the return, i think the main idle never open! very fat driver get wet ???
going to put the 3 lb spring back in?
50% on the barrel valve
just need little more help
getting the idle down
trying to up load video from facebook can this be done

can you use a volt meter on oms as a buzz box to set the timing on a mag, or am I missing something in the buzz box? can not get the meter to show when the points are opening, hooked the meter to the orange and yellow wire set the meter on dio checker makes a (buzz) also set on oms and still have a closed circuit
can not fire the monster for the first time without setting the timimg, can I? :o

question 355 sb chevy going with a street 6-71, hat has .052 now, pump is 80a, rpm about 6400 big end both pulleys are 52   
1) will the pump work
2) will the .052 work
2) main pill size?
3) or just leave it alone put yellow in it 8)

been busy in the shop now that the bike is out for paint, got a chassis cert after norwalk so time to bust nuts!!!

AND heres the teaser boys, you say man i am kinda a big guy and cant find a car to fit, well do you play NFL football down in the trenchs. You say no. Well you aint that big then, here is our new car, topless. fitting my lineman buddy in the car. 6'7 350+.
