Nice pass. Thanks
I wonder if they are legal for N/TF? or if changes need to be made to the powertrain.

Thanks Jon - I figured there were limitations on the engine components. It would be interesting to see how much it slows with legal N/TF parts. Conversely, how much quicker would the N/TF cars run with their engine?
One thing it does show me is you can put up big numbers without a long wheelbase chassis. That brings to mind my past attempt at running my 243 ci altered as a D/Econo Dragster. The next year I did that successfully the IHRA mandated /ED rails had to be longer than 125", effectively outlawing altereds running in a dragster class.

I was there it was cool, Richard Hartman ran the 4.92 and Kebin Kinsley ran the 304.xx to just barely take the top speed record. I was abe to get my heap in the winners circle there. So that was fun to race in front of maybe 8,000 people?

I would bet ton of money the motor is 100% TF/FC setup. Probably throw body on it and run it.

Awesome. I've just watched that & the War Wagon hi speed pass then the 1/8 mile Outlaw Fuel Altered coverage on Living Nitro Youtube. Excellent quality video & sound.

I do not know what is wrong with this thread. It says 5 (now 6) replies but I can only read first two.
In any case I was there and it was cool. some are complaining that it does not meet their idea of what an Altered is or should be or that it did not meet the rules. What Rules?
I was actually sitting on the wall right behind the starter in the middle on the first hit. Yes it was loud. I thought it was a good show and glad to see Richard Hartman run those numbers and Kebin Kinsley run the 304 to just edge him out for MPH.
