In the planning stages to make the trip from Connecticut to this years hot rod reunion ! I am going to need a place to leave my trailer for a week as I plan to go to the SEMA show the next week and also see some of the sights in California ! I have never been out west before and I am open to any suggestions ! I have also thought about having my trailer shipped out there ! Has any one ever done this ?

I have another suggestion ! Why not look into a chassis kit ! It would come with all of the major bends you need and you build it the way you want it ! As far as the rear end an 8 3/4 mopar rear would be just fine for what you are doing and they still make a lot of good parts for them ! Stay away from an open rear and use a spool ! Use a nice small tire ! For something like you are running a 9 inch tire would be good ! Just do it and don't let your age get in the way ! I just tuned 69 this year and have no plans on stopping !

Double check the filter ! it could be on backwards ! Also some builders plug the cooler by pass at the pump so you must run a cooler of at least loop the line at the cooler fitting ! Valve body loose ? Broken or missing ring on input ? Let us know what you find .

I think that's where I am right now with this and I do plan on switching to a mag for next year and up dating the fuel system !

So if my ignition is weak will it just not burn all of the fuel ? I did notice the last time out that it was spitting some raw fuel out of the pipes ! Can this cause other problems like detonation !

Chris I never had any luck leaving at a low RPM with my car but it's a small block ! Mine likes around 5800 to around 6400 !

I used to use a summers gear drive on mine but it was a single idler ! Worked great never had an issue with it !

Thanks for all of the advice guy's ! I guess I will move forward from here and make what I have work ! I was talking to a friend of mine who runs a comp car with a blown small block and they were having a problem with a high speed mis fire and he tried a mag and picked up big time so I think that might be my solution as well ! My sheet metal intake has no room for a mag so I might have to use an off set drive or go to a cam drive !
