GEE WONDER HOW THEY GOT THE REP AS I,LL HANDLEING, WHAT ABOUT THE OLD ATLEREDS AND SUCH..... WATCH THE SWB YOUTUBE VIDEOS. JMO
BOB
I alway's kind of thought the older altered's with short wheel bases were ill handeling because of such a high center of gravity.

Once you go to injected alky you pick up a lot of tourqe this should make your converter a little looser. I think this will help some . Your tires look a little big . Try to borrow a smaller set from someone . Cajuninjector is right you need wheel speed and from what i have learned a FED need's quite a bit .Keep us posted with your progress.

The real danger of the rear used to be when they ran open rears and the spider gear's and pins broke . With the spool's we use now they are pretty safe

I run a pair of terminators on a tunnel ram manifold . You will love the throttle responce and tourqe

Iknow I am partial to small block's but one with a blower is the coolest! When I was younger Dale Hall had the baddest blown alcohol dragster around . He was alway's the guy to beat! Best of luck with yours.

I would agree with these guy's . Unless you are making a ton of power it's not going to be very fast at all. You are also going to put a severe amount of heat into the converter .

I've always done this hotrod thing for the fun of it and some things sure haven't changed. Started the above "belly button engine" for the first time this morning and have been grinning so hard I've got a face cramp :D.  370 cu in, Milodon block, dart heads, 8.5- 1, with a BDS 8-71 and bugcatcher, 80A-1 pump on alky. Very simple mild setup with a flat tapped cam and MSD 7AL-2 ignition. Previously have run a mag but had to try this.  At 10% over, it sounds like a giant killer. Swapped the pulleys to 10% under, re-fired and it still sounds good. Bad batteries in the timing light, duhhh, will fine tune tomorrow.
Very nice You guy's with your blower's are making me jelous !

Tim I have a question . How do you get in or out ?
