Title: Old small blocks never die!
Post by: masracingtd1167 on April 07, 2014, 12:52:33 PM
Nice story here ! Scott Hall son of TAD racer Dale Hall has taken his dads old small block that he ran in TAD freshened it up and re did the fuel system . Scott put it in his RED Top Dragster with a power glide . This past weekend they ran a 6.29 at 215 ! Not bad for a motor that was built over 20 years ago !

Thanks it a freshened up version of the engine I have ran for quite a few years just needed a new block, rods, and pistons. Oh yes we got us new (but used) SSI blower that looks pretty cool up there

Looking at a pic of Dale's car now, at U.S. Nationals in 1976.  I found two pics.  Nice to think that engine lives again.
