Getting a little more serious about finding Dad's digger.  I even paid money for some ads on Racing Junk!   ::)

Rules state a maximum of three discs.  I would guess they are using three discs.

That is a track by track and case by case basis.  You need to talk to your tech guy at the track, and get his blessing.  By the rules, no open face helmet is allowed in an open car, period.  I have gotten the ok from local tracks to use a breather mask.

Ask Dallas Brown from the AHRA.  He just found a source to do his decals.

There was a flat (dirt) track motorcycle race over the weekend down in Florida.  Needless to say, it was stupid hot there.  Some of the riders mentioned drinking Pedialyte or something with salt in it, because their bodies were not using the water they were taking in.

When I am out at Bonneville, I do something similar.  I started drinking Propel instead of straight water.  My body seems to 'use' the Propel better/quicker than straight water.  It tastes better, too.

No floor automatically put you into a -15 suit.  A blower will, too.

In my opinion, if you are required a -15, you may as well spend a couple more bucks about get the -20.

The photos below are from the last known seller, Dwain Ehlinger, from the Chicago area.  The car was sold around 2004 as a roller.  Dwain's Father believed the buyer was from the Carolinas.  The car was last seen running at Bowling Green several years ago, with a little B&M style blower.  Any information or photos would be much appreciated.

That rail would look mighty neat with a Ford Y-Block with an Y-Bloke 4-71 setup...
