Title: AN Hose Crimper
Post by: Paul New on October 13, 2017, 07:04:04 AM
Thinking of switching up my program to crimped fittings on my race car.  What brand of crimper, hose, and fittings are people using?

I'm interested in the answer on the crimper also. I have been using XRP fittings for the cutter type fittings. Do you have to use the company crimper or can you use anybody's that has the right size die.
I borrowed an Imperial Eastman 660t-ferrule-vise-manual-hose-crimper to do my port lines and it works great.

I have been using XRP AN fittings that do not require crimping and really like them. What is the advantage of crimping them. The ones I use are reuseable (take them apart and put a different length of hose in them and put them back together).
