I have old a/c coil that we used for cooler wat back.It worked bACK then I am guessing,no data recorders. Any reason not to use it like restriction, too little cooling or any to harm trans. Planning to use for cpl weekends and replace before next year. Maybe few races. If theres chance it could fubar any parts I'll make another cash stretch for better piece.

My only concern would be an orifice in one end or the other. As long as it has good flow it should work. After all its just a heat exchanger.

I have 6 an fittings in 3/8 pipe taps so that should not be issue.

whats pressure on cooling circuit? Running ATI aluminum pump, deep pan and #6 hose to and from,if any of that matters. Regular braided hose should be fine? Could do PTFE if any chance of blwing line. Not looking to repeat slick in high gear thing like Bristol 91 with Funny car. Sry no laughter.

PTFE would be the preferred hose but I've run rubber braided without any issues.
I cant help much on the pressure question but I don't think its as high as the internal pressure.
