What I have is an Older Rodeck. Std size Babbit SBC cam Brgs. The Liners are worn .030. Would clean-up @ .035. The rear cap is a dry Sump. Main Caps-Studs and nuts-washers are there also. The block has some damage from a rod-s failure in #1 ad #2. Was run like this. Asking 750.00 plus shipping from Ohio. Block has Rodeck 350 Plus cast into front. Mains are 400 size.

If interested please reply with a contact number. I am in Ohio. Price will B reasonable as I dont have a real use for it and cant use for our purpose. Thanks Al

« on: October 24, 2017, 04:05:51 PM »
I may be interested in the items you have for sale, if I could work a deal with you. I have A FIE perm magnet internal coil Vertex Magneto. Since Spud checked it we ran it in an Asphalt Sprint Car for 4 30 lap races. It has a Std. Blue Vertex Cap and a set of Copper Core wires. The wires are 90 deg ends and are long. They could be used on a BBC under header application or shortened as they are 8mm. The dist gear is Bronze and is very usable. I am willing to pay you some money in the trade. We have all but one engine equipped with MSDs and would like to have them All the same. Let me know via Personal Message if this is of interest. Thanks Al

Spud Miller's Cave / 22 amp MSD conversion [from C.T. 12 amp]

Spud, I help with a FED Dragster. Good 427 engine with a SSI  Std Helix 6-71. The pump is the mandated Waterman 19.2 gal max pump [actually not legal per NHRA Tester in Caif.] Flows a little over 20 gpm per his test. When run with the above named 22 amp mag-NO Hi Speed. The Engine does not perform as well [drops cyls on top end]as it does with the large Enderle Pump. That pump we know is weak@ best. My question is, Do we have enough Mag/Coil for this much pump? Fuel pressure @ nozzels is up around 160 PSI I come from the old days when we ran 2.5 amp Vertex mags with a 12 gal Crower pump. Thanks Al
