Where do you buy bearings for your old spindle mount front wheels?

Just pull the old bearings--get the number off it and they will be easy to source/ cross reference--they are very inexpensive--best to get the number off ones you have then they can be crossed over to whatever brand your guys carry--they are not odd or unusual at all--standard easy to get once you have the number.

Gas:
I had this in my notebook from my Altered.  Anglia spindle.
Inner -    07098  bearing          07204 race
Outer -   03062 bearing           03162 race

 Grease Seal  CR 12565

Amazon, Ebay,  Not sure what you have in the way of auto stores , MFG supply.
Should be no prob I would think especially with the spindle based on something English. :-\

Good luck on your car bud looking good.
Luke

I had this in my folder also. Its for a national seal.

National 471787

When you take these apart look them over close. Im sure you will  :). But what I have seen a few times in my limited experience.
If the bearings were not kept adjusted correctly it can hammer on the Spindles Bearing shoulder.
Check to be sure someone didnt prick punch, stake a loose race in place.
Take the washer off and make sure the nut can go up to bearing.   Making sure your not adjusting bearings with interference from the threads.
Watch the seal surface not being dinged from rough assembly.
take care
Luke

Luke,
thanks for jumping in here and helping. I have been working in another shop all this week (putting a cage in a road race Mini Cooper) so I have not had much chance to look a the board.

There you are.
I did not want to impose but just throwing a little bit out there.
Would that be a New Cooper or an original Cooper.  Either way I am thinking there was some contortion work involved. :P
Thanks much
Luke

Some cars/wheels/people use sealed ball bearings in the front wheel hubs, I know I do and a little easier to get than Timken Rollers and dont have to worry about the seal and flinging grease.
Inner bearing is 25mm ID and the outer is .625 ID. Just pay particular attention to the adj nut as you may have to sand the back side to get the slots to line up with the cotter key and have proper preload on the bearings.Dragsters dont carry that much front end weight for a long time and distance that the load rateings are still within specs

This is what my bearings says:
Inner: 9105PP
Outer: 204PP

I found several matches when i did a quick google search
