Going to get filter to run on MFI in FED. New system I am working on uses small nozzles, which will not take much of anything to plug. Never been huge fan of filter when we ran blower motor, because tune up was on edge and any restriction would have pushed it over. Then never ran as small of nozzles and pulled system dwon every week to check for anything and clean.
What filer are you using and before or after pump.

I run one of these prior to the barrel valve and check it every other pass

Are you running a -8 then? Does it effect your tune up in any way?
-
Yes I run the -8 and I did not see any difference in my tune up. One thing though doubt I could see a difference in my tune up any way as I run my car very fat!

The little cone filters are great. I couldn't believe that they didn't restrict flow so I bought a -8 and tested it on the flow bench. 18 GPM through it transparently with no trouble at all. Forward, backwards, no diff. BUT...they won't hold hardly any debris before they start to restrict. So, just be sure to check it often.

Not sure how legit, was on internet. I watched video of someone testing little cone style and seems he found about .5 or .7 loss for a 13 gpm system.

Maybe it was a -6?

I run one of FIE's 5-6" inch long -08 filter can. Been there for years. LOTS of filter surface. I never get debris in it, but i'm super weird about my fuel system too.
