Would the reverse clutches tend to wear a little quicker with the slower release ? And how small could you go with the hole?

The building is going to be an upgrade to the existing bathrooms and storage. At least that's what I was told at the concession stand.

I'm pretty sure this has been covered but couldn't find it. After draining and drying all my FI stuff. What lube would you use for several months of storage?

Trans brake was going to be my next suggestion. Unless its a Torque Flite.

One thing you could check is brake pressure. I had problems with mine, did some math with help from the link and found I needed a smaller master cylinder. http://www.markwilliams.com/braketech.aspx

I don't know that you need it. But if you decide you do, I would think you would want to tap the back of the block and let water out that way also.

-6 is fine for the return. If the return was too small it would tend to lower the idle because of a rich condition. Along with what was suggested make sure you don't get a vacuum leak when its warm. I had terrible problems with Felpro printoseal gaskets leaking. Changed to a cheap plain gasket problem solved.

I'm right handed and had my button on left because of the brake handle. It didn't take long to get used to. I mocked up a button on the brake handle but it didn't feel comfortable to me. It's what ever works for you.

Another good reason to raise the idle is if you do use the trans brake it will help to make sure its applied fully before you release the hand brake. If you drive up to the line and back use second gear around the pits. It will counteract some of the high idle.

Is this going in a FED or Altered? If it is are you sure you want a Torqueflite that close to your feet or legs?

At part throttle could there be a chance of a lean condition? Closing down butterflies would also close the barrel valve some. If the air didn't slow down as fast as the fuel I would think that could be a problem. A throttle plate of some kind might be better, then barrel valve isn't affected.

A friend had similar issues. Turned out to be a cracked crankshaft. Not saying that's you problem. I would think it could create some harmonics though.

Not sure what your wheel looks like. Sometimes if you turn them 90 degrees it will make it easier to get in.

I was given a Moroso leak down set that didn't work right. After taking it apart I found one of the holes I think it was for one of the gauges wasn't drilled all the way. Opened the hole up and it works perfect. Maybe yours just needs a little help.

Run the front tire pressure as low as you dare. Will give you more roll out. Air up slicks till they spin a little. Yes more than 8.
