Title: Chute cable mount
Post by: tony1966 on May 15, 2017, 05:13:48 PM
Was planning on replacing the cable on my fed's chute and doing something nicer than wire ties to fix the chute end of the cable. Thought about a bracket on the shoulder hoop. But every idea i come up with doesn't quite seem right or is too convoluted. Any suggestions?

Thanks!
Tony

I make and sell two chute cable mounts one works at the cable to chassis location and one attaches the cable end to the chute pack flap. Just don't attach it to the bottom flap ,it could hinder the pop chute deployment. call Don at 214-327-7312

There are some nice pieces here.
KISS, I use an adel clamp at the corner of the rear of the pack. It is attached to an L bracket coming off the attachment point of the pack. Sorry no pic handy.

Thanks for all the reply's, some cool stuff out there.  This is what i did, I had some small aluminum bar laying around a whipped this up quickly on the mill.  Small tab with a lock nut welded to it that you can't see in the picture too well.

Thanks!
