Hi  too.Bill,
Thanks for following up...I'm checking everything over now...Car has always been well behaved straight as an arrow, last two races MapleGrove and E-Town car moves left before the 1-2 shift...I've been playing with tire pressures too.  I'll keep u posted.

Thanks Bruce...I'm trying to solve a handling issue with my car...car ran each pass straight as an arrow...last 3 passes at different track location, car gradually is driving left?  That's why I was looking at stagger.  any thoughts?

Anyone running the D2585 slicks experience the rollout changing over time causing a mismatch?  At race pressure the set always taped darn near exact, now 1/2" difference.

If the wrinkle is under the tire at launch and not in front (5 O'clock Position), does that mean underinflated?

Thanks Roo...generally speaking wouldn't increased pressure equal more wheel speed and possibly more slippage?

When discussing air pressures for slicks half the time people tell me more air equals more traction and the other half says less air equals more traction?

Front Engine Dragsters / Gen. Reg 1.8 Belly Pan - Retention Device

The regs state that a belly pan is to have a "flame retardant absorbable mat"  ( I'm paraphrasing).  What can be used to fulfill this requirement?  A NAPA gray absorbent mat?

Thanks Bruce...I'm a gas carb guy. My reason for asking is it a good practice to save the motor from potential oil starvation.
