Title: Dripper for warm up
Post by: PSweeney on March 17, 2018, 03:43:23 AM
Anybody running a dripper to warm up a stack set up on gas ? We don’t want a permanent tank / pump arrangement on the car, so was thinking of a gravity fed tank into the main line to bv. Will this idle or does it need to be atomised ?

I saw a nitro fed at the hot rod reunion with just a primer bottle and a looped 1/8" hose with 8 tees and 8 short tubes that hung on the stacks. Just held the bottle up and let it run until almost empty then turned on the fuel, was a very simple set up and I am sure there was a learning curve but it worked well. One of those things I should have took a pic of.

The big A/fuel guys just use gravity fed set up. Most have a air chuck on distribution block and a nipple on can with off/on valve. Supper simple. Making one for my deal so when running nitro I can get full temp before hitting pump. I  am using a old fire bottle for tank. Hey looks cool and free.
