From what I am seeing the tach pulse generator will activate a shift light but is not strong enough to activate s shifter solenoid.

I have a Dedenbear SS2 shifter solenoid I would like to use with a Vertex internal coil Mag with mechanical tach drive. Dedenbear used to offer a Pulse Generator PG8 that connected to the cable drive on the mag and connected to the solenoid shifter but is no longer available. What are any other options to set up a solenoid shifter using a mechanical tach drive? Thanks.

I had a neighbor that did the same thing. I was like you, very seldom started the car, always during the day and only when absolutely necessary. Cop would come out and apologize for coming out but said he had to follow up on complaint. I probably didn't start the car more than 6 times in 2 years. It aggravated her so much that she couldn't do anything about it that she finally sold her house and moved.

NHRA is too closed mind to consider it but what if everyone started sending emails to IHRA asking them to consider adding some nostalgia classes to its events.If they get enough inquiries they might just have to think about it. What do you think? It can't hurt to try.
