Thanks guys!
I have cheek't at the bearing supplier here in Norway and the bearings for one Wheel costs about 212 dollars so it is rather expensive :)  I have ordered two sets from Summit, it will be here at my doorstep for less Money than it costs here in the store for one Wheel minus the seal.  Thanks alot for the info ;)
Do you guys remember the inner mesurament for the seal, we are building the spindle set as we speak :)
Best regards from Norway.

« on: January 19, 2015, 01:26:48 PM »
Hi guys!
I have a set of Weld Racing Prostar front Wheels, spindle mount.  I dont have any wheelbearings, only the mesurements of the bearing seat.
Inner 1.620"
Outer 2.040"
Seal   2.114"
I need to buy the right bearings to be able to build the spindle, I want to have the right mesuraments so I can use other wheels as well.
Does any of you guys no what type of wheels I have?

Best regards.

You can cheek out the prices there before you order.  He had great prices before on helmets and the Hans device.

If you are in Norway the I think the easiest solutions and cheapest is to modify a boat trailer
Something like this.

At least this is the way I was thinkin about With my Project.

The cheapest price  I have seen for a New rim is 750 a piece.  Is that normal or what.  When I calculate that to Norway it will be x 2 with transport and customs.

I tought it was to be on the outside, it explaines everything to have it on the inside.  It is easy to modify it now.
I have a nother question, diagonal tube that goes from corner to corner.  Why is it welded to the uprights only?  Why not in the corner and welded to both horisonal and vertical tubes.
Borrowed a photo from Clint Jobbs to show you.
Thanks again for good answers, you guys are one step closer makeŽn a 4x4 guy a dragracer :)

Thanks.
I was going to make a pinoin support down to the cross tube in the bottom.  Do you think that is enough?
That reinforcement in the shoulder hoop, isnt that for under 6 sek?  Can I take the extra tube and Slice it upp by length ena weld it back together on the shoulder hoop?
Regards.

Hi there guys.
Thanks for all the good advises and merry Christmas!
I made some progress with my project.  I lowered the axle about 3 cm and the backend of the motor.  The line is now 2degrees.  There is now more room for my legs  ;D
I also moved the upper frame rail up so there is just enough Space the take out the last sparkplugs.  I think I will have more strength in the rail that way.
