Spud Miller's Cave / Compression ratio

Hello,

I am in the final stages of my BBC build(582), last thing is the pistons.  I plan to run a mechanical stack injection, methanol and occasional 30% nitro.  What is the compression ratio I should be looking for?  Will the Nitro like 15:1 or will I have to lower it some?  or is higher better???  Thanks for any help.

I am building a BBC and the heads are older EPD Racing and are extensively ported with epoxy.  I plan to run my stack injection on methanol and occasionally up to 30% Nitro.  Is this going to be a problem with the epoxy?

Matt Shaff's Engine Shop / Adding a blower to a 13:1 engine

I am getting ready to add a 10:71 and alcohol injection to my 412 sbc.  Dart block, iron eagle heads and currently running 13:1 compression.  Is this too much?  Do I really need to drop down to a lower static compression?  This will be my "trial by fire" as this is my first time dealing with a blown engine.  Are mls gaskets OK with this set-up?
