I was just wondering what style of filtering system or oil filter type and make everyone uses in there alcohol engines. Had a couple of oiling system problems in the past and don't want that mistake again.

I use a spin on Napa Gold 1061 in my alky sbc, makes about 60 psi, no problems.

406 SBC ALKY wey sump Wix spin-on racing filter, 500 BBC blown alky OBERG inline filter dry sump

I use an Oberg, you can catch many things when they are small before they become catastrophic.
-
Always ran Oberg.

I ran a Wix 51061 for years on my race cars. I would still be using a 51061 on my car except I changed to a dry sump oil system with a Peterson inline filter

We have Oberg filters on all or engines. Using the filter after the dry sump pump.
Only complaint is that it is messy when we check it after every run. The excess oil will spill out as you take it apart.

We run an inline cleanable Peterson filter, works great for the last 10 years, we only need to check it after the race.
